Her research focuses on why good intentions do not translate into the desired actions, and how to design policies that improve health and environmental sustainability. Her research involves collaborations with companies, nonprofits, and the public sector, using large-scale datasets and field experiments. She received her Ph.D. in economics from Aarhus University with research stays at University of California, San Diego, and University of Chicago.
