Heather Devine is head of the British Columbia Behavioural Insights Group (BC BIG). Prior to establishing BC BIG in 2016, Heather held leadership positions in a variety of policy areas in the BC government, including health, finance, higher education, forestry, and public safety. Heather has dedicated her professional life to launching and evaluating innovative government programs that aim to improve the health and well-being of citizens. Before her career in the BC government, Heather ran psychological and physiological experiments in a judgment and decision-making lab at Defence Research and Development Canada.
