It is three months into the year 2015. Some of us who made a promise to exercise every day in 2015 may be struggling to exercise barely once a week.
Hengchen Dai is a Ph.D. candidate in the Department of Operations and Information Management at the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania. Her main stream of research applies insights from behavioral economics and psychology to motivate people to behave in line with their long-term best-interests (e.g., saving for retirement, maintaining a healthy lifestyle). After completing her Ph.D., she will join the Olin Business School at Washington University in St. Louis as an assistant professor of organizational behavior.
