Yanna Krupnikov is an associate professor of political science at Stony Brook University. Her research focuses on political psychology and political communication. In particular, she is interested in how and when new information can affect people's willingness to take political action. She’s a founding board member of Women Also Know Stuff. She received an M.A. from the University of Toronto and a Ph.D. from the University of Michigan. Her recent book (with Samara Klar) is Independent Politics: How American Disdain for Parties Leads to Political Inaction.
