Martin Day is an assistant professor of psychology at Memorial University of Newfoundland. He studies societal cognition, that is, how people make sense of society. For example, he examines how people perceive, rationalize and react to societal conditions such as economic inequality and how such societal conditions can have downstream effects on individuals.
