Hugh S. Fullerton

Hugh S. Fullerton (1873–1945) was an American sportswriter best-known for his writing on baseball. He famously exposed the 1919 World Series betting scandal and was a founder of the Baseball Writers' Association of America. He was a pioneer of the athlete interview and forerunner of statistical analysis in baseball. He authored a number of books, including Touching Second: The Science of Baseball (coauthored with former major leaguer, Johnny Evers, in 1910).
