Nicholas Poggioli is assistant professor of management at Appalachian State University. His research and teaching address ecologically sustainable business practices and market structures. Nicholas was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow at the University of Michigan Erb Institute for Global Sustainable Enterprise, and he completed his Ph.D. at the University of Minnesota. Prior to academia he volunteered with the United States AmeriCorps and Peace Corps, worked as a Research Assistant at the Orange County Business Council, and was an Education Park Ranger at Yellowstone National Park and Gulf Islands National Seashore.
