What We Gain from More Behavioral Science in the Global South

Pauline Kabitsis is an independent applied behavioral science consultant. Her work with Common Thread focused on applying behavioral insights for public health in the Global South, including increasing birth registration in Namibia and Ethiopia, combating misinformation on polio vaccine in West Africa, and increasing COVID vaccine uptake in Kenya and Syria. She consults for a variety of behavioral science organizations including the World Bank eMBed Unit, the IRC’s Airbel Innovation unit, and Irrational Labs. She earned her M.Sc in Global Health from McMaster University in Canada.
