Tenelle Porter is a postdoctoral researcher in the department of Human Development at the University of California, Davis. Her research examines ways to increase positive development in school, civic, and career contexts. Her work draws from developmental, and social psychology, and focuses on understanding the causes and consequences of various beliefs, attitudes, and habits of mind, including intellectual humility, and a growth mindset. She received a Ph.D. in developmental and psychological sciences from Stanford University.
