Alison Buttenheim is an associate professor of nursing and health policy, and associate director of the Center for Health Incentives and Behavioral Economics at the University of Pennsylvania. Her research focuses on the use of behavioral economics to increase the uptake of evidence-based care. She received her Ph.D. from the University of California–Los Angeles and her MBA from Stanford University.
