Jessica Feezell is an assistant professor of political science at the University of New Mexico. Her research draws on scholarship in political behavior, media effects, social media, and information technology. She is particularly interested in the influence of digital media technologies on the political socialization of youth and acquisition of political information from nontraditional sources. She received her Ph.D. from the University of California, Santa Barbara. She is the co-authored of The Politics of Energy Crises (with Juliet E. Carlisle, Kristy E.H. Michaud, and Eric R.A.N. Smith).
